Advanced Instruments & Technology
At the Raleigh Contact Lens Institute, we are equipped with some of the most advanced technology in the United States for specialty contact lenses and myopia management. Our focus on complex cases allows us to use tools and instruments rarely found in standard eye clinics.
These advanced systems help us design lenses that provide unmatched precision, comfort, and vision quality for patients with unique corneal conditions.

Pentacam AXL Wave
The Pentacam AXL Wave is available in only a few eye clinics nationwide. It captures over 240,000 data points of the eye, allowing us to design a custom scleral lens made specifically for each patient.

EyePrintPRO & EyeFitPRO
EyePrintPRO is a mold-based contact lens option for patients who cannot wear conventional scleral lenses. Because it has no design limitations, it provides a healthy and comfortable fit when other scleral lenses are unsuccessful.

Optovue Solix OCT
The Optovue Solix OCT enhances scleral lens fitting by showing the exact curves of the lens on the eye. This lets our doctors make adjustments with micron-level precision, improving comfort and lens performance.
Wavefront-Guided Clarity with OVITZ
xwave Technology
Real-life vision goes beyond what’s measured in the exam room.

What Our Patients Think of Us
EXCELLENT Based on 5 reviews Jimena Garcia2025-01-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. "I had the pleasure of visiting Raleigh Contact Lens Institute for an eye exam, and I was blown away by the exceptional service I received from Dr. Madison Moss .The moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful and modern facilities. But what truly impressed me was the warmth and kindness of Dr Moss She took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the exam, answering all my questions and concerns with patience and expertise. It's clear that she is passionate about her work, and it shows in the way she cares for her patients. I highly recommend Raleigh Contact Lens Institute and Dr.Moss to anyone seeking top-notch eye care. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!" Chris S (Spence)2025-01-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Moss and Liza are awesome. Dr. Moss is generous with her time and she has a passion for helping her clients deal with significant eye issues (I have keratoconus). I went from my ophthalmologist telling me there was nothing that could be done for my vision other than a corneal transplant to Dr. Moss working with me to get my vision all the way to 20/20 with special contacts. She’s also fun to work with and makes the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable—something I don’t necessarily associate with eye doc appointments. Liza at the front desk is also very kind and helpful. Dr. Moss and Liza are very responsive—I had an issue arise over a weekend—and they responded almost immediately. I was shocked and appreciative. Can’t recommend this practice highly enough—they gave me my vision back and made me laugh while doing so—they’re an awesome team. Michelle Eddy2024-12-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Oh my… Where do I begin! I have never experienced such excellence in my healthcare life. From my initial call with Liza until the actual visit with Dr. Moss. I live in central Virginia and traveled over 3 hours for my initial visit and it was worth EVERY mile! Liza was so resourceful in getting the appointment set and Dr. Moss completed the experience with knowledge, professionalism and kindness. With this eye condition, it takes a lot of time and patience to address what is needed for my eye care. Dr. Moss was very thorough in explaining her assessment of my condition and what my options were to improve the quality of my eyesight. I am SO GRATEFUL for them both and HIGHLY recommend the facility if you have this eye condition and difficulty in getting the right fit for your lens.
