Meet Dr. Madison Moss

Dr. Madison Moss was born and raised in North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. There, she also completed a specialized residency in Cornea and Contact Lens, gaining advanced expertise in vision care and specialty lens fittings.

During her residency and private practice, Dr. Moss developed a passion for helping patients who struggle with standard glasses or contact lenses. She specializes in fitting medical and specialty contact lenses for conditions such as keratoconus, corneal grafts, trauma, post-surgical complications, and other corneal diseases.

Dr. Moss also has extensive experience in myopia management for children, using proven methods to slow the progression of nearsightedness. She even wears orthokeratology lenses herself, giving her unique insight as both a provider and a lens wearer!

Dr. Moss is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and an active contributor to the eye care community. She is a candidate for Fellowship in the Scleral Lens Education Society, serves as a speaker for the STAPLE program, and writes for leading publications like Contact Lens Spectrum and Review of Myopia Management. In addition, she is on the advisory board of the Gas Permeable Lens Institute (GPLI) and regularly leads educational webinars for students and practitioners. Dr. Moss lectures to groups of other doctors at meetings and conferences nationwide.

In 2021, Dr. Moss and her husband Bailey returned to the Triangle, where they enjoy exploring local restaurants, breweries, and outdoor activities from the mountains to the coast. Outside of work, she loves live music, scenic hikes, running, and spending time with family and friends.
