Dr. Richard

Meet Dr. Dannielle Richard

Dr. Richard grew up in Apex, NC and earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at UNC Wilmington. She then traveled to Boston to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at The New England College of Optometry.

While in Boston, Dr. Richard spent over 10 years practicing alongside top ophthalmologists, developing specialized expertise in fitting medical and specialty contact lenses for patients with complex corneal conditions — including keratoconus, corneal transplants, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Dr. Richard's passion lies in helping patients who have been told they cannot wear contacts find clear, comfortable vision through advanced lens technologies.

Her clinical expertise extends beyond specialty lens fittings to include comprehensive dry eye management, evidence-based myopia control for children, and the use of prosthetic contact lenses to restore both appearance and comfort for patients with corneal scarring or irregularities.
